A celebrated footballer, Marta Vieira da Silva, won the Ballon d'Or in 2010, is now 38 years old and has had an impressive career. 

She has played for numerous clubs, including Vasco da Gama (2000-02), Santa Cruz (2002-04), Umea IK (2004-08), Los Angeles Sol (2008-09), Santos (2009-10), Gold Pride (2010), and many more, ultimately ending her journey with Orlando Pride (2017-2023).

Rodri won Ballon d'Or 2024

Rodri made history by becoming the first Manchester City footballer to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or award for 2024. The announcement took place during the ceremony on Monday at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Remarkably, he is only the third player to achieve this honour in the past 16 years, joining the ranks of esteemed legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
