Turkey faced Georgia in the first game of Group F at the UEFA Euro 2024. The Crescent-Stars opened the game well, putting pressure on their opponents and controlling the pace of the game. Arda Guler made it 2-1 for the side as his amazing curler from outside the box left the Georgian keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili stunned as he after diving at full stretch could not reach. Turkey broke the deadlock after Mert Muldur's thunderous strike from outside the box in the 25th minute of the game leaving no chance to the Valencia keeper.

Georgia is participating in its first international event, having defeated Greece on penalties in the qualification play-offs. They scored the equaliser in the first half itself with Georges Mikautadze scoring Gerorgia’s first-ever European Championship goal in the tournament. Georgia in desperate look for an equaliser

Turkey entered the tournament with poor form, having lost all five of their previous matches. They do, however, have a good squad, including Real Madrid's Arda Guler and Benfica's Orkun Kokcu, who are hoping to make a mark in this tournament and improve on their bottom-place record at Euro 2020.

The debutant nation was good in their first game as they gave a nice fight. Before coming to the tournament they've won 3-1 over Montenegro and, led by Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, will look to shock the odds this evening. Two minutes after the first goal, Turkey's Kenan Yildiz felt he had doubled the lead, but his goal was ruled out due to offside by VAR. The game has been ende to end so far with Georgia pushing for the equaliser once again.
