WATCH: AL Hilal captain recreates Lionel Messi's iconic 2022 FIFA World Cup celebration

The Saudi Super Cup has finished and we have finally got our winnner in Al Hilal who beat the Al Nassr guys in the finals by a score of 4-1. This was a match dominated by Al Hilal who looked in control throughout the entire game and managed to win the cup in the end as well. This was a one sided victory which the whole club will enjoy after beating one of the top teams in Saudi.

The game seemed to go Al Nassr's way when Cristiano Ronaldo went onto score the opening goal of the match which should have set the tone for a Al Nassr victory. However, it all went Al Nassr's way as they went on to score 4 goals in the next 17 minutes and took the game away from CR7 and his men to win the trophy in the end and win a title at the start of the season. This was clearly a great performance from the whole team against an in form Al Nassr side.

Aldawsari recreates Messi's celebration

The match was done and then it was time for the trophy presentation to announce the winners of the Saudi Super Cup this season. This was surely a proud moment for Al Hilal captain Salem Aldawsari who led his side really well which resulted in a resounding victory. Salem also went onto recreate Lionel Messi's iconic World Cup celebration during the trophy celebration and it was a joy to watch even for the Messi's fan and seeing this done in front of Ronaldo's team was something to marvel at as well.

This celebration also took us back to the glorious time where we actually saw history being created with Messi getting his hands one the biggest international trophy in football. Aldawsari made us remember one of the greatest footballers with this celebration which was clearly a great moment for him as a captain and a football player.
