Serbia vs England score prediction (Source: Twitter)
Favourites for Euro 2024 When England takes on 33rd-ranked Serbia in their Group C opener on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen, they officially kick off the competition. Despite never having won a European Championship, the Three Lions are seen to have the best chance of winning this summer's tournament because of their roster's abundance of superstars.
They will play Serbia, which finished second in a weak group that featured Bulgaria, Montenegro, and Lithuania. Serbia finished behind Hungary. Going into the Euros, they will hope after their 3-0 friendly victory over Sweden, although they were also defeated by Austria before that.
Having won just one of their past five games after a successful two-year run prior, England does not enter this tournament in good shape. They are not playing up to par in the attack, but they also have defensive problems brought on by age and injuries. England's defence is their weakest point, while Serbia has a good of offensive talents. The Three Lions had given up in four of their previous five games, including their humiliating and depressing 1-0 loss to Iceland in their last tournament warm-up friendly.

Betting Tips:
Whether England wins easily or becomes frantic in the end after another poor offensive effort, they like winning set pieces with verticality. That was the case in their friendly defeat to Iceland, where they earned seven corners, their previous 3-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they earned eleven.
Serbia, surrendered 10 corners to Sweden last time out while maintaining a clean sheet, while Russia had eight in a man-up triumph in March. The Three Lions should be able to easily clear this low bar. Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic require service to thrive, but both enter the tournament in good club form and should be able to exploit England's poor defensive ranks.
