Bayern Munich hosted Real Madrid in the 1st semi-final of the UEFA Champions League at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians after losing the Bundesliga title for the first time in competing for just one trophy in the current season. They defeated Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Madrid on the other hand came after beating the hot favourites Manchester City in the penalties. The home side started beautifully controlling the midfield they had great chances but failed to capitalise. 

The Los Blancos after soaking all the pressure from the Germans, they hit back in the counter after a superb defence splitting ball from Toni Kross, found Vinicius Junior 1v1 against Manuel Neuer as the Brazilian put it past back the keeper breaking the deadlock at 24th minute. The second half started more of visitors way but the Bavarians hit back after Leroy Sane's powerful strike made it 1-1 for the side. Harry Kane made it 2-1 for the side couple of minutes later after Jamal Musiala was brought down inside the penalty are couple of minutes later of the first goal.

Manuel Neuer-6

The experienced shot stopper had a decent outing was indirectly at fault after he failed to come out due to a confusion between the defender, saved two brilliant shots could not have done much about the penalty.  

Joshua Kimmich-5

Joshua Kimmich had more of defensive duties as he well managed Vinicius in the wings and did not let the Brazilian take the runs inside the box. 

Kim Min-Jae-4.5

The South Korean defender had a tough times as he was caught out of positions several times, with pace, conceded a penalty 

Eric Dier-7

Dier was excellent in the back made some crucial blocks and interceptions inside the box had a chance to score as well but header went straight to Lunin.  

Noussair Mazraoui-6 

Mazraoui was decent in the game as he was caught out of positions some moments in the game, conceded fouls near the edge of the box. 

Konrad Laimer-9

Excellent in the midfield controlled the whole game for the home side and was directly involved in the first goal as he shifted the ball to Sane in the wings. He was all over the middle of the park for the home side neutrlized the runs of Vinicius. 

Leon Goretzka-6

Goretzka was good in the middle of the park controlled the tempo of the game and did some crucial interceptions in the midfield and equally contributed well in the attack but was taken off during the half time. 

Jamal Musiala-8

The German winger was excellent down the wings, he was excellent throughout the game but made more impact in the second half as he earned the penalty for the side. 

Thomas Muller-6.5

Muller was finding the runs inside the box as he was making spaces for Musiala and Sane on the wings. Overall had a decent outing in the game. 

Leroy Sane-8

Sane was amazing with the ball as he had the chances of scoring in the first half of the game but could not find his scoring boots, however he equalised after making a sensational run from the wings inside the box driving a powerful low strike. 

Harry Kane-5.5

Kane tried to create the chances in the first half although he was well marked by Rudiger but scored from the spot. However for the whole game could not create much trouble to Madrid's defence.

Lunin did not have much saves to make, did some regular saves should have saved the first goal as he conceded from the near post. 

Lucas Vazquez-5

Vazequez had difficult time down the right hand side as he was troubled by Musiala most of the times and fouled him inside the box. 

Antonio Rudiger-8

Rudiger was rock solid at the back as he did not let Kane take his chance in the game. The German was all over for the defence for the visitors. 

Nacho Fernandez-4.5

The experience centre back had tough times against Musiala and Kane. He was always sluggish while both gave him trouble inside the box. 

Ferland Mendy-4.5

The French was average as he should have closed down Sane lot earlier before the strike gave ample space for the winger to run behind. 

Federico Valverde-5

Valverede was rarely seen in the pitch as he could not have much chance to make runs inside the box with the balls. 

Aurelien Tchouameni-6

Tchoumeni was decent in the midfield however could not have much in the middle was later shifted to centre back position and did good job at the back line.  

Toni Kroos-8.5

The best player for Real as he delivered some good balls inside the box and controlled the visitors game for the whole time he was there in the pitch. The former Bayern man delivered an amazing assist to Vinicius to break the deadlock. 

Rodrygo-6.5

Rodrygo was silent in the game, he tried making runs inside the box in the first half was not successful, untill he earned the foul inside the box as he was brought down by Kim Min-Jae

Jude Bellingham-4

Bellingham was merely seen on the ball as the English creative midfielder failed to create any kind of damage in the game. 

Vinicius Junior-7

Scored two goals was more involved in the second half of the game and was denied in 1v1 sitution by Neuer.
