Match Preview: Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
Bayern Munich will be facing Real Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final 1st leg at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians already lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen and they are out of the DFB Pokal as well, so they are only competing for the UCL and Thomas Tuchel's side will look to qualify for the final of the tournament, and win the trophy as well. However, the task will be a difficult one against Madrid as the German team has been inconsistent.
Madrid on the other hand have the best chance of winning their 15th title as the most successful side after beating defending champions Manchester City in the quarter-finals. Madrid's season has been with ups and downs despite sitting on the top of the La Liga table they have some concerns. But against all the odds they defeated City in the quarter-finals and showed the world why they are the best team when it comes to playing in the UCL.
