Bayern Munich will be hosting Arsenal in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians have already lost the Bundesliga after 11 years of domination and are only in the race for the UCL. They have yet to lose their last home game in the group stage round dates back to December 2013 against Manchester City and since then they have yet to lose a game at home. However, they lost at home against Borussia Dortmund on March 30th.
Mikel Arteta will be returning to Germany after a 2-2 draw against Munich at home. They have been brilliant this season, however, they have dropped points in the last game against Aston Villa at home by losing the match 2-0, and almost destroying their hopes for the Premier League title. They will be hoping to do some miracle and qualify for the last four of the UCL. There were a lot of controversies with two penalties not being awarded to the sides.
Bukayo Saka was the star for the Gunners in North London. The Gunners have a poor record against Thomas Tuchel's side, but they will try to turn the tables according to their favours and win at Allianz, where they conceded five goals when these two teams met.
Bayern Munich vs Arsenal: Prediction
Munich have already lost the Bundesliga as they have failed first time in 11 years. Despite Harry Kane scoring 32 goals this season his trophy drought has still not ended as the English striker is yet to win any major trophy in his long illustrious career. The Bavarians would like to qualify for Wembley and win the UCL as well, but they have major steps ahead of that.
The Gunners need to buckle up after their poor show at home in the last game against Villa. Arteta's boys will be keeping their focus on the upcoming game despite losing at home and winning on Wednesday. They have also conceded the least number of goals in the toughest league and once again they need to show that.
