Trent Alexander-Arnold Injury

Following his injury during the match against Aston Villa, Lee Carsley will be worried about Trent Alexander-Arnold's fitness. After smacking the deck with no one nearby, the Reds defender was substituted out in the twenty-fourth minute. Liverpool medical personnel hurried onto the field to the 26-year-old's aid after he appeared to have suffered a muscle injury.

After running back to support the defense, he was spotted clutching the side of the right leg before collapsing. Although he was able to stand again, manager Arne Slot was unwilling to take the chance of allowing the defender to play again. The Dutchman quickly substituted Conor Bradley for him. The question of whether Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave the England group is still up in the air.

He was recently called up to play versus Greece and Ireland during the last two UEFA Nations League games. In an attempt to exact revenge for their 2-1 loss to the UEFA Euro 2004 champions last month, England will play Greece on Thursday. On Sunday, November 17, they play Ireland at Wembley, where they want to win and finish first in League B Group 2.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s amazing start to the 2024/25 season

Since Carsley temporarily took over the Three Lions, Trent Alexander-Arnold has shown to be an essential member of the team. Under Carsley, the Liverpool academy product has started each of the four games. Before being used on the opposing side of defense in the 3-1 victory away to Finland, he played the first three matches in his natural right-back position.

With two assists during 15 appearances this season, the footballer has been among Liverpool's best performers. Fans will be praying his knock isn't serious because the Merseyside team will play Real Madrid and Manchester City quite quickly after the next international break. After losing Alexander-Arnold to an injury, Darwn Nunez's goal in the 20th minute gave Liverpool a 1-0 lead going into halftime.
