Many young players have made it look easy by scoring a hat trick in ISL.

In this article, we take a look at the top five youngest players to secure a hat-trick in ISL:

5. Seiminlen Doungel – 24-years-old

Seiminlen Doungel

In 2018 Seiminlen Doungel scored a hat-trick at the age of 24 against Chennaiyin FC. He scored his first goal as Reagan Sing made a pass to Seiminlen Doungel who was outside the box. With his dribbling skills, he went through the defender and the goalkeeper Karanjit Singh. In the second half of the match Seiminlen Doungel went to capitalise on the ball pass through Danilo Lopes and netted the ball into the goal. In the 68th minute of the match, he again scored and completed his hat-trick.

4. Steven Mendoza – 23 years old

In 2015 Steven Mendoza playing for Chennaiyin FC scored a hat-trick at the age of 23 years against FC Goa. His speed threatens the defence of the opponent team. In the 10th minute of the match, he broke the deadlock and scored the first goal. In the second half, he scored two goals in the 63rd minute and 75th minute as Chennaiyin FC dominated the match.

3. Thongkhosiem Haokip – 22 years old

During the Indian Super League (ISL) match against Mumbai City FC Thongkhosiem Haokip scored a hat-trick at 22 age. The first goal of the match came in the 34th minute. By the time he scored the second goal in the 52nd minute, the team took the lead of 3-0. He completed his hat-trick in the 79th minute of the match. As he completed his hat-trick he wrote his name into ISL history books.

2. Vikram Partap Singh – 22 years old

 Vikram Partap Singh

Vikram Pratap Singh scripted his name into ISL history by scoring a hat-trick at the age of 22. He is the only sixth Indian to achieve this landmark. While playing for Mumbai City FC he scored a hat-trick against NorthEast United FC. Going into the match the opening game came in the 3rd minute but in the 10th minute of the match, Vikram Partap Singh netted the ball into the goalpost. By the time of the 80th minute, he completed his hat-trick and scored 7 goals of the season.

1. Kiyan Nassiri – 21 years old

 Kiyan Nassiri

Kiyan Nassiri scripted history as he became the youngest player to score a hat trick in the Indian Premier League (ISL). In 2022 he scored a hat-trick against SC East Bengal at the age of 21 years. He entered the match as a substitute in the 60th minute of the match. In the last 30 minutes, he took his chance and scored the hat trick. He is a talented and rising star in Indian football.
