Nearly two months have passed since Toni Kroos' final Real Madrid match, when the team defeated Borussia Dortmund in the Wembley final to win the UEFA Champions League. The renowned midfielder announced the end of his playing days earlier this month following Germany's quarter final defeat from UEFA Euro 2024.

In addition to having a fantastic final season at Real Madrid, Kroos was able to see firsthand two of the team's most promising young players, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler. During a conversation with Sky Germany, Toni Kroos expressed his admiration for Arda Guler, the 19-year-old Turkish prodigy, and forecasted a promising future for him.

The German International said, “He has a great future if he stays healthy. What sets Arda apart from other young players is that he is open to learning. Since he arrived he has paid a lot of attention to everything we did before and after training.”

The former Bayern Munich midfielder added, “There are not many players like that today. He really wants to learn and improve. His finishing and his left foot are incredible, we all noticed that from the first training session.”

Will Arda Guler stay at Real Madrid this season?

Due to injury, Guler missed the whole initial half of the season in his debut season with Real Madrid, so he did not get many games. Guler is drawing a lot of interest from various clubs, but he is not anticipated to depart Real Madrid on loan despite the fact that competition for spots has only gotten stiffer at the club coming into the new season.

The young player, who will start the season wearing the No. 15 shirt, is anxious to make an impression during preseason after having a successful UEFA Euro 2024 with Turkey. He will be a crucial player for Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid as they make a bid to win back-to-back league titles and UEFA Champions League trophies.
