Matchday 30 saw Tottenham Hotspur face their London rivals West Ham in the English Premier League on Tuesday night at the London stadium. Both teams put out strong line-ups with the intention of taking the win against their city rivals.

Spurs were on the attack from the get go as they started off brightly and were rewarded with a goal coming from open play. Brennan Johnson was able to slot him the first goal of the game after a great ball from Timo Werner, who grabbed the assist.

The home team then started off to play on the offence more and were using the counter attacking scenarios to their benefit. During one of their corners, Jarrad Bowen’s amazing cross into the six-yard box was slotted in the net by skipper Kurt Zouma.

Both teams then started to play aggressively and wanted to control the midfield. The away side was able to grab possession of the ball more often than not and were dictating the play. West Ham were happy with playing on the counter and the clever runs made by Bowen were helping their play.

How did the second half between West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur pay out?

The two sides began the second half on the right foot with some great attacking plays. Tottenham put the foot on the gas and began to attack more and were looking likely to get the second goal.

The away side looked to be on the attack and also brought on some fresh legs for the final 20 minutes of the game. They were testing the opposition defence on a regular basis but were unlucky in not getting the goal. The hammers also created some key opportunities and Antonio got a one-on-one chance to grab the lead but failed to put it away.

The match was getting into the position where the next goal would decide the fate of the match. Both sides made some substitutions but none of them were able to get the decisive edge for the team which would have helped them clinch the three points. In the end, both sides had to share the points in the big London derby but Tottenham Hotspur would be disappointed with a draw in this game.
