Riccardo Calafiori is the topic of massive discussions on the back pages of every football tabloid. The young Italian is on the cusp of a move to Arsenal as the Gunners are set to thrash out the final details with Bologna over the summer move. 

Benedetta Boeme who happens to be the partner of the Italian defender was in the news recently. There is a viral statement going around that the model has broken up with the Italian international after reports of Calafiori flirting with some unknown went viral.

Taking to her official Instagram account, Boeme wrote “I am forced to write here that I have no TikTok profile!! Someone is pretending to be me and writing things that are not true”

The young model also wrote “This is my only social media account. I have never talked about anything and I never will. I kindly ask whoever opened the TikTok profile pretending to be me and writing personal and delicate things, which then get reported as articles in the media, to immediately close the profile, otherwise, I will take legal action”

Fake breakup post goes viral 

One account pretending to be Benedetta Boeme posted a long story on TikTok which claimed that she had broken up with the Italian defender. The post also announced that Riccardo Calafiori had completed the move to Arsenal. Once this post went viral many fans took a screenshot of the same and posted it on various social media platforms. 

It can be confirmed that Arsenal and Bologna are yet to reach an agreement regarding the price. The two clubs are set to meet soon and agree to the final details for the huge transfer set to take place. 

Riccardo Calafiori became a household name after his exploits for Bologna and the Italian national side. Mikel Arteta earmarked the youngster as a priority signing after watching him excel in the backline for Bologna. Calafiori has been compared to Italian great Paolo Maldini for his composure on the ball. 

With the agreement close many Arsenal fans are excited for the youngster to move to London. Arsenal are also in the hunt for a left-back after it was reported that Kieran Tierney is set to move. Tierney who is currently out injured is working hard on his fitness before seeking out a new club in the coming few weeks.
