Real Madrid's galacticos signing of the summer transfer window, Kylian Mbappe, is going to be out with an injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg, as confirmed by official sources of the club. The Frenchman specifically requested coach Carlo Ancelotti to substitute him due to discomfort in his left thigh during Madrid's s 3-2 win over Deportivo Alaves on Tuesday (September 24).

Mbappe made a significant contribution by giving Real Madrid a 2-0 lead over Alaves in the 40th minute, following Lucas Vazquez's opening goal in the first minute. Nevertheless, the forward was replaced in the 80th minute for Arda Guler, with the Spanish giants leading 3-0. Despite their strong lead, the game ultimately concluded with a 3-2 scoreline after a late comeback by Alaves.

A Huge Blow For Los Blancos

The French Striker's Injury was confirmed following the tests he went through at Real Madrid Medical Services. The club has not provided an official confirmation regarding the duration of Mbappe's absence. However, according to recent reports from journalist Mario Cortegana, it is possible that the Frenchman could be sidelined for approximately three weeks.

As a result, he is expected to be unavailable for important upcoming matches for Real Madrid, such as the Madrid derby in La Liga (scheduled for September 29) and their UEFA Champions League fixture against LOSC (slated for October 2).

Mbappe's Stats So Far in his Debut Season

Kylian Mbappe made a high-profile move to Los Blancos from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer, swiftly establishing himself as one of the club's key players. The Frenchman clinched his first trophy with Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup, scoring once in their 2-0 victory over Atalanta.

In total, Mbappe has netted seven goals and provided one assist in nine appearances for the Spanish giants this season. During Mbappe's absence, Carlo Ancelotti has been able to count on Bellingham to bolster the attack, similar to last season. Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo continue to play pivotal roles for the club.
