Real Madrid are in the final of the UEFA Champions League and they will be facing Borussia Dortmund in the final on 1st June at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The Los Blancos already won their 36th La Liga title and they are eyeing their 15th UCL title. Against the odds, they qualified for the finals of the European competition and showed the world why they are the best team when it comes to UCL.

Carlo Ancelotti's side despite having injury problems, did not struggle at all in the league as they lost only one game in La Liga this season and showed amazing intensity in playing their matches. Rodrygo has been exceptional for the side in the recent few years. The Brazilian footballer had a brilliant season with 17 goals and 9 assists in 50 games across all competitions for the side.

However as the transfer window is opening in a few days, the 23-year-old winger has created turmoil with one of his comments. As he stated doubts over his future at the Spanish club raising the possibility of a move to Liverpool in the upcoming season or in the near future. The Reds will be happy to have the service of the young footballer as they are in desperate need for a back of Mohamed Salah.

Will Liverpool sign Rodrygo?

Rodrygo signed for Madrid back in 2019 from Santos for €45 million. He's been a starter in Carlo Ancelotti's side this season and creating a name as well. He was the star in the semi-final against Manchester City in the 2021/22 season where he scored two late goals and earned a place in the final of the tournament and won it as well.

The Reds have been linked with the Brazilian forward for several years and approached Madrid about signing him. OK Diario reports that the Reds had a €120 million offer rejected by the Spanish club, however, if he feels like leaving the club then he will need to terminate the contract as he has four more years of contract left with the club.
