Against all the odds, ISL (Indian Super League) was founded in 2013. After the introduction of ISL, it became the popular football league in India. Some of the great international talents and domestic players of India are playing together in this league. Many celebrities from Bollywood and some global footballing giants helped to gain ISL’s reach globally.

 5. Subrata Paul

Subrata Paul

Subrata Paul started his career in 2014 as a GK for Mumbai City FC. Paul played two seasons for Mumbai franchisees. He was on his pick in 2015. Paul has played in 95 games and made 25 clean sheets and conceded 107 goals. He has made 10 appearances in this season for Hyderabad FC.

4. Amrinder Singh

Amrinder Ranjit Singh is one of the most brilliant goalkeepers in ISL history. 30-year-old goalkeeper born in Punjab. Last year he played for Odisha FC featured in 36 matches, and made 2 clean sheets. Amrinder has featured in 13 matches for India too. He started his career with ATK in 2015. After that, he played for different franchisees like Mumbai City FC, Bangalore FC and Odisha.

3. Edel Bete

Apoula Edima Bete Edelwas born on June 17, 19866 in Cameroon. Bete has some great international experiences. Bete has played for clubs like PSG and Gent. Atletico De Kolkata signed him in 2014. Bete has featured in 35 appearances and made 11 clean sheets. He also played for Chennaiyin FC and FC Pune City.

2. Arindam Bhattacharya

Arindam Bhattacharya

Arindam Bhattacharya was born on 11th December 1989 in Kolkata. Arindam was picked by FC Pune City in 2014.  In 90 appearances in ISL, Arindam has 35  clean sheets. He joined Mumbai City FC in 2017, and after some months he joined Atletico De Kolkata, where he grew as a goalkeeper exponentially.

1. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu

32-year-old Gurpreet Singh Sandhu hit the rank one in our list. Sandhu was born on February 3, 1992, in Mohali, Punjab. He is probably the finest keeper in ISL history. He played for Bangalore FC since 2017. Till now, he appeared in 134 matches and made 43 clean sheets. Gurpreet won ISL in 2018-19.
