After an even first half, Tottenham Hotspur came out charging hoping to get the second and decisive goal. In the 82nd minute, Van de Ven got the much-needed winner for his side.

At the White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon, two teams playing for a win for very different reasons. Tottenham Hotspur took on Burnley in the hope of getting their first win in five games. Meanwhile, the visitors needed a win to boost their chances of staying in the English Premier League next season. Jacob Bruun Larsen got the early goal for his side after seizing from a small error from Tottenham. However, the lead lasted only seven minutes as Pedro Porro got the equaliser

The second half began with Tottenham Hotspur dominating the possession and were attacking to grab the second goal. After a brilliant defensive display from Burnley, they ended up conceding a great goal from Micky Van de Van. The game ended 2-1 in the favour of the hosts. The Italian had a great game once again and was able to contribute to the team with his amazing distribution. The keeper should have been able to do more to save the shot.

The Spaniard continued his good form as he grabbed the equaliser for the side with a great strike across the goal.

Cristian Romero - 8

The centre-back was solid at the back and always looked for opportunities to play the ball forward.

Micky Van de Ven - 8.5

The pacey centre–back was out of position for the opener and might be partially at fault for the gap that opened up leading up to the goal. However, he made up for his mistake as he was able to get the winner on the night.

Oliver Skipp - 6

The youngster was trying a lot to make a meaningful contribution for his side but was losing out on possession more often than not.

Pape Sarr - 6.5

The midfielder was getting dominated by the opposition players and gave away possession on quite a few occasions. But was able to try more in the attack during the second half.

Yves Bissouma - 5

The midfielder was mostly absent and was neither able to help out the defence or the attack more often than not.

James Maddison - 6.5

The attacking midfielder was tasked with the responsibility of making the chances for the side but he was not able to generate anything from open play or set pieces and missed a great chance to get the second goal. However, he made up for his poor display with a great assist.

Dejan Kulusevski - 7.5

The winger was energetic throughout the first half and was looking to create opportunities for his team today. 

Hueng Min-Son - 6

The veteran was the leader of the attack in the absence of Richarlison but could only manage some wayward shots in the first half. 

Brennan Johnson - 7

The winger had a mixed bag today against Burnley as he was at fault for giving the ball away for the opener and missed a great chance at the other end. Although, he combined well with Porro to grab the equaliser.

Arijanet Muric - 4

The keeper looked shaky most of the time and should have saved the shot at his near-post for the equaliser. 

Lorenz Assignon - 7

He kept his flank mostly quiet throughout the game and that meant he could help out the attackers in the offence. 

Dara O'Shea - 6

The centre-back was able to get some key tackles and interceptions and was also not at fault for the equaliser by Pedro Porro

Maxime Esteve - 6.5

The Frenchman showed composure at the back when the pressure was building but made sure not to give anything away.

Charlie Taylor - 6

The left-back was often troubled by the Tottenham players on their right flank and could not do much to stop the play leading up to the equaliser.

Vitinho - 5

The Brazilian had a great chance to open the scoring but was unlucky to see his header saved

Josh Cullen - 5.5

The midfielder could not do much with the ball and was seen helping out his defence more often than not.

It was his precise ball that sent Larsen through on goal today and was great in midfield.

Jacob Bruun Larsen - 8.5

The winger was able to grab the opener as he seized the small chance at goal for his side. It was a great finish from the Danish attacker

Lyle Foster - 6.5

The attacker was great with his hold-up play up front and was looking to link-up with the other attackers whenever he got the chance.

Wilson Odobert - 6

The striker’s pace was helpful in the counter-attack but more often than not the Tottenham defenders were able to catch up to him.
