Former Chelsea man Callum Hudson Odoi gave the home side the lead however the lead was equalised by the Blues substitute Raheem Sterling. Soon Nicloas Jackson made it 3-2 for the visitors.

Nottingham Forest hosted Chelsea FC in the matchday 36 of the English Premier League. The home side who are mathematically in the religation race. The Blues who are competing for a place in the UEFA Europa League spot soaked in the pressure for the first few minutes and on then a defence breaking ball towards Mykhailo Mudryk who broke the deadlock in the 8th minute but the lead was not intact for much as Forest equalised through Wily Boly's header that deflected through Conor Gallagher's leg and went inside the next. 

The second half began with the home side piling on the pressure. Forest struck the post as well and the re-bound was not scored Chris Wood. On the other end also Thiago Silva's also hit the post. Former Chelsea man Callum Hudson Odoi gave the home side the lead however the lead was equalised by the Blues substitute Raheem Sterling. Soon Nicloas Jackson made it 3-2 for the visitors.

Matz Sels-5

He will be furious with himself for the first goal he conceded, however could not have done much about the other two goals.  

Gonzalo Montiel-5

The Argentine was decent in the game as he made the runs in the first half of the game and created pressure on Chelsea's full back, managed well managed well Cucurella and Mudryk. 

Willy Boly-7

The defender scored the equaliser of the match in the 16th minute. He was successful keeping Jackson quiet for most of the game however was caught out of position during the third goal for the Blues. 

Santos Murillo-7

He was good in the back line as he got away with a hand ball and showed excellent composure with the ball. 

Moussa Niakhate-6.5

The centre back was good for most of the game but he was caught off during Reece James's run for the third goal. 

Ola Aina-6.5

He was brilliant against Madueke at the back. Rarely was under pressure by the winger. 

Morgan Gibbs-White-7.5

He was brilliant in the midfield and neutralised Cucurella in central positions of the game. 

Ryan Yates-7

Yates was excellent in the midifeld as he controlled the midfield against a star studded Chelsea lineup. He transitioned the game beautifully for the side. 

Danilo-7.5

He was very robust in the midfield duels, with Chelsea failing to get past him. Overall was good in the game. 

Callum Hudson-Odoi-8

Hudson-Odoi was always a threat in the wings as he created problems for Trevor Chalobah down the right hand side of the pitch scored a goal against his former side as well. 

Chris Wood-4

The striker will be furious with himself as he had the best opportunities in the game missed one golden chance in the first half and one in the second half of the game.

The Chelsea keeper was decent however could not have done much about the first goal, but should have saved the second one. 

Trevoh Chalobah-5

He struggled against Hudson Odoi was not much involved in the attacking half of the game as well. 

Thiago Silva-6.5

Silva who is set to leave the club used all his experience at the backline and was decent in the game. 

Benoit Badiashile-4.5

The centre back was not at his best on the night. He was struggling against Chris Wood in the game and he failed to mark Boly as well who scored the equaliser in the 16th minute.  

Marc Cucurella-5.5

Struggled to find space as Forest appeared to understand his playing style early on in the game. 

Moises Caicedo-7

Caicedo was decent in the game as he had have the control of the game. He builded the tempo of the game. 

Conor Gallagher-5

The captain was decent in the game as he could not create much impact in the game failed to have the control in the attacking third of the game.  

Noni Madueke-5

The winger was decent in the game as he made the runs well inside the defence but he was well managed by Aina and could not deliver the best crosses inside the box and neither score a goal as well. 

Cole Palmer-8

The best player for the Blues as he delivered some beautiful balls for the forwards and one of which was converted Mudryk. 

Mykhailo Mudryk-6

Mudryk broke the deadlock of the game, however except for scoring he was decent in the game and could not create much of the impact. 

Nicolas Jackson-6

He gave little trouble in the game but more importantly scored the winner of the game.

The forward since coming on was the game changer as the Blues scored two goals in quick successions. He was creating problems with his pace in the Forest defence.

He was the supersub, the Chelsea full back since coming on was excellent in the wings gave the all important assist to the winning goal.
