Liverpool hosted Crystal Palace at home for the English Premier League clash. The Reds after their hefty defeat of 3-0 against Atalanta BC made some changes with Alisson coming back in goal and Mohamed Salah returning to the playing XI. But they had not the best start with Palace breaking the deadlock courtesy of Eberechi Eze's goal. The visitors had the chance of making it 2-0 but failed after Andrew Robertson cleared it of the line.

Despite trying hard the Reds failed to find an opening in the game with Dean Henderson providing with a match winning performance and destroyed Liverpool's title race hopes. The final score at Anfield was 1-0 and Jurgen Klopp's side have now lost two back to back games at home.

Here are the Match ratings:

Liverpool FC

Alisson-6

His return to the side was not as he would have expectated it to be as the Brazilian shotstopper was beaten once in the game, but made one brilliant save in the last minute of the game to keep the score 1-0.

Conor Bradley-5.5

Conor Bradley had a tough outing in the first half as he was caught out of position and failed to track back sometimes with the youngstar was forced off the pitch due to an early injury.

Virgil van Dijk-5

He would have suffered if the ball would have gone in as the captain slipped off which created a chance for Eze to make it 2-0 but he failed. Van Dijik was not at his best as the Dutch defender made some fumbles during the game.

Andy Robertson-8

He was brilliant in the left side for the side as he created some genuine goalscoring attack for the side. The Scottish captain was at his best as he cleared one ball off the line and prevented them scoring the second.

Curtis Jones-4.5

Jones was not at his best in the midfield as he had the chance of equalising for the home side after he failed to put it in the goal froma pass of Cody Gakpo.

Wataru Endo-5

Endo had a tough outing at Anfield as he failed to control the tempo of the game and close down the counter attacks of the away side as he kept on losing position in the middle of the park and was taken off.
