Aston Villa F.C. who are fighting for a place in the UEFA Champions League spot for the next season hosted Liverpool in English Premier League match 37 at the Villa Park on Monday. The home side needs three points from two of their remaining games and the game did not start well for the Lions as they conceded in the 2nd minute of the game after Emiliano Martinez made a howler while grabbing a simple cross and putting it inside the back of his own net. Ten Minutes later Unai Emery's side hit back with Youri Tielemans equalising for the side. 

The game was ended to end with both sides creating chances, however the visitors took their chance and scored the second goal within 23rd minute after Cody Gakpo had an open net. The home side created the chances but was failed to capitalise as Diego Carlos could not make a contact for a tap in and then Mousa Diaby was 1v1 with the goalkeeper striked the ball over the bar. The first half ended 1-2 in favour of Jurgen Klopp's side. In the second half they started the game exactly the way they wanted as Jarell Quansah scoring from the header making 1-3. Jhon Duran was the hero for the Lions as he scored two late goals to earn a point for the side and make it 3-3 on the night.

Emiliano Martinez-4

The Argentine shot will be livid with himself with the first two goals he conceded in the game, first of which was an own goal as he scored an own goal after he spilled a simple cross inside the net and in the second goal he should have punched it better. However could not have done much about the third. However made to big stop to keep the scoreline to three goals. 

Ezri Konsa-5

The right back was decent in the game did not go in the attack much in the first half however was more busy in the defensive duties in the second half. 

Diego Carlos-5.5

The centre back had the best chance of the match but he failed to score almost near the goal line failing to meet the low ball of Bailey. 

Pau Torres-6.5

The Spanish centre back was good with his ariel duels, was out of position during the second goal and failed to mark Gakpo's run. He marked Salah well in the game. 

Lucas Digne-6

The French full back was good down the wings and delivered some good balls inside the box however struggled against Salah and Elliot in the wings. 

Youri Tielemans-6

The Belgian was decent in the game scored the only goal for the side in the first half never looked controlling the middle of the park. 

Douglas Luiz-6.5

The midfielder pressed higher in the pitch snatched some balls in the game and created them for the wingers from the middle of the park. However was caught out of position during the counter attacks. 

Leon Bailey-9

Bailey was the best man in the pitch as the winger troubled Joe Gomez with his pace and dribbling feet, but had some good battles was furious after his chances was not capitalised. 

John McGinn-5

McGinn had a less impact on the pitch as the winger could not trouble much as his other side winger did. Had some battles with Arnold down the left side. 

Moussa Diaby-8

The forward was the brilliant in the pitch for the Lions created lots of chances by shifting ti the wings which was not capitalised by his own teammates. He failed to score the second goal right at the dying minutes of the first half after he was through 1v1 with Alisson and again in the added time of the game. 

Ollie Watkins-4.5

The English striker had a horrible game as he failed to score from the easiest of chances had arguments with Bailey for missing goals was well marked by Van Dijik.

Nicolo Zaniolo-3

The Italian came in as a substitute, however got the chance to pull one back for the side but failed to do so. Was forced off picking up an injury.

Jhon Duran-8.5

Duran came in for Zaniolo and was lightning fast since coming one had a shot blocked but scoring from the mistake of Alexis Mac Allister and making 2-3 on the night. He scored the equaliser for the side as well in the 88th minute after a pass from Diaby hitting his foot and ending at the back of the net.

Alisson-7.5

The Brazilian was good in the back as he made some decent saves, however lost a ball while clearing but was not captalised. Made one big save in the stoppage time to deny Diaby from scoring the winner of the game. 

Trent Alexander-Arnold-5

Arnold was not much seen with the ball and making his attacking runs as he was busy defensively marking Mcginn and Diaby. He failed to create the attacks and deliver the curling balls inside the box, tried one shot which was well saved by Martinez. 

Jarell Quansah-6.5

Quansah was good in the air, scored one goal as well, however struggled against the pace of Diaby and McGinn. Overall was average at the back.  

Virgil van Dijk-6

The club captain was decent at the back as he played one horrible pass that lead to the second goal of the game. However was good against Watkins and kept the forward silent for the game.  

Joe Gomez-5.5

Gomez struggled with the pace of Bailey as he was lost most of the times while the winger made his time difficult, could not help in the attack as well.

Harvey Elliott-7.5

The midfielder had a good game as he linked up with Salah well in the game and helping his teammate to make runs down the middle as he shifted wide. Was the one who led the first goal as his cross was spilled in by Villa's keeper. 

Wataru Endo-7

The Japanese was excellent defensively as he had more work inside his own half, made some good transitions from defence to attack. 

Alexis Mac Allister-4.5

The Argentine was lost for the whole game as he could not manage against the pace of Bailey and Diaby at times, made some harsh tackles, was somewhat at fault during the second goal. 

Mohamed Salah-6

The winger was not in his best form as he looked out of touch and failed to create much impact in the game made some runs centrally to find some space but could not find the back of the net. 

Cody Gakpo-7.5

The Dutch was excellent in the night scoring the second goal and was good down the wings as well creating chances for the side. 

Luis Diaz-7

The Colombian winger was threat down the wings as he made some good runs inside the box, and made a brilliant run with the ball inside his own half but failed to set it up Salah for the Egryptian to score the goal.
