Player Ratings; Arsenal vs Everton (Source- Twitter)
Arsenal hosted Everton in the final day of the English Premier League 2023-24 season. The North London side were chasing the title on the final day of the league. They started the game in a positive manner creating chances in the game. With Jordan Pickford was up on his toes always making two good saves to deny the Gunners to open the scoring. The visitors looked good on the counter as they made the London side's defence open a bit with Dominic Calvert-Lewin came very near scoring as he struck the post and on re-bound hit the side net. Against the run of play the Toffees opened the scoring from the free kick after Idrissa Gueye's strike was deflected with Declan Rice's head and ending in the back of the net. Takehiro Tomiyasu scoring back soon and equalising near the dying moments of the first half. The second half of the game was exciting with the home side trying to take the lead as they struck the post twice in the game and final got the lead in the dying minutes of the game.

The keeper was excellent in the game as made one brilliant save to deny Calvert-Lewin to score, could not have done much about the one he conceded.
Ben White-5.5
The full back was decent in the game as he was troubled by Calvert-Lewin, he tried making some runs attackingly but could not create much impact in the Everton defenders.
William Saliba-6.5
Drew a number of fouls from Calvert-Lewin and was typically excellent against the striker. Did not let him go past him much of the gane.
Gabriel Magalhaes-6
The Brazilian was brilliant at the back as he did not let Dominic Calvert-Lewin much chances to open the scoring for the side. But he had to be taken off due to a shoulder injury, after he was competing with Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Takehiro Tomiyasu-7.5
The Japanese was brilliant all the game made some good runs inside the box and scored the equaliser for the side and was effective down the left hand side.
Martin Odegaard-6.5
The club captain was brilliant in the midfield trying to score and created the chances as he assisted the second goal setting up to Havertz.
Thomas Partey-5
Partey was poor in the midfield as he could not control the tempo of the game and lost possession in the middle of the park. Neither he was good in the attack nor in the defensive part as well.
Declan Rice-6
The English midfielder was not on his best of games, could not create much chances from the midfield, was unlucky as the freekick of Gueye struck his face in the wall and deflected inside the goal.
Gabriel Martinelli-6
The Brazilian winger was decent in the game as he made the runs inside the box had some good battles with Ashley Young, however could not find the opening for himself.
Kai Havertz-6.5
The German was silent most of the game against two physical centre-backs and scored the winner for the side in the 89th minute of the game.
Leandro Trossard-5
The winger did not have the best of the games as he failed to have any impact on the game tried his best to score but his shots were blocked and had some good battles with Coleman

Jordan Pickford-7.5
The Everton captain was once again upto the task as he made some good saves in the first half of the game. Denying the home side to score several times, however could not have done much for the goals he conceded.

The right back was excellent as he did not let play Trossard at all in the game had some good battles in the game with the winger.

The center back was brilliant in the game as he offered little space to Havertz in the game closed down the German very well, never fumbled with the North London's kept on the pressure.

He was excellent along with his partner Tarkowski and did not let any kind of opening for the Gunners made some vital blocks and interceptions for the side.
Ashley Young-4.5
The former Manchester United full back used all his experience in the right hand side had good battles with Martinelli, struggled against the pace of the winger overall was decent in the game. But made a howler after he gave miscued one diagonal ball that led to second goal.

The midfielder was decent in the game, he was more defensive as Tomiyasu and Trossard made runs down the wings, had a decent control in the midfield.

Was amazing in the midfield as he controlled the game in the counter attack of the side and scored the opening goal of the game.

Onana was decent in the game as he could not have much control in the middle of the park looked very average with the ball.
Dwight McNeil-6
McNeil was trying to create the chances in the counter attack was good defensively tracking back Martinelli in the first half however was beaten by the winger in the second.

The center forward was decent in the game as he could not create much trouble for the Arsenal defenders.

The striker looked threatning in the counter attack and struck the post as well. He could not create much problems for the Arsenal defence except for that one shot.
