On Tuesday, Mikel Arteta and Martin Ødegaard's Arsenal overcame their fierce rivals with their biggest-ever victory, pulling ahead of them in the English Premier League standings. Arsenal defeated Chelsea FC 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium today, demonstrating their continuous ability to easily overcome their opponents. As a result, Arsenal now leads Liverpool by three points in the Premier League standings heading into tomorrow's Merseyside derby, while Manchester City trails by four points with two games remaining.

Ratings for the game:

Arsenal -

David Raya - 7

The keeper was not tested at all throughout the game and was a spectator for most of the match.

Ben White - 9

The defender was at the right place at the right time as he increased the lead for his side twice in the second half. At the back, he kept the attackers quiet throughout the game.

William Saliba - 8

The Frenchman played well again at the CB spot and was a rock at the back for his team today against Chelsea.

Gabriel - 7.5

The centre-back had some nervy moments throughout the game but was able to make sure that nothing led from that.

Takehiro Tomiyasu - 7

The left-back was maybe one of the poorest performers for the side today and was being dominated by Madueke most of the time.

Martin Ødegaard - 8.5

The playmaker had an excellent game once again and was creating plenty of chances for his side. His brilliant passing was on display once again and grabbed the assist for the third goal.

Thomas Partey - 7.5

The defensive midfielder was class today and his great defensive abilities allowed Rice to play more in the attack.

Declan Rice - 9

Not many people applaud the midfielder for his attacking efforts but today the Englishman showed his class in the offence as well. He grabbed the assist for the opener and was creating a flurry of chances for his team.

Bukayo Saka - 8

The winger was teasing the full-backs with his skills and tricks and kept chances flowing all the time for the team.

Kai Havertz - 9.5

The attacker was making great runs in the attack and was rewarded for his efforts as he scored a brilliant brace against his former club.

Leandro Trossard - 8

The attacker opened the scoring and had a couple of more chances after that to increase his side’s lead today.

Substitutes -

Gabriel Jesus - 5.5

The striker did not have any significant impact after being brought on for the final 25 minutes of the game.

Gabriel Martinelli - 5

The winger had some great opportunities for his side but squandered to increase the lead even more for his side.

Oleksandr Zinchenko - 6

The substitute had some great minutes today and wasn’t overly affected by the Chelsea attackers.

Jorginho - 6.5

He was brought on when the game was sealed and he continued the attacking push for his side.

Fabio Viera - N/A

Chelsea FC -

Dorde Petrovic - 3.5

The keeper was also at fault for his dodgy goalkeeping and could have saved three out of the five goals that his side conceded today.

Alfie Gilchrist - 4.5

In his Premier League debut, the 20-year-old had a baptism of fire and was responsible for the opening goal.

Axel Disasi - 3

A horrific showing at the back and could not muster much against the pacey Arsenal attackers.

Benoit Badiashile - 2.5

One of the worst players on the pitch today as he gave away possession on multiple occasions and might have been at fault for a couple of the goals

Marc Cucurella - 4

Cucurella, who appeared preoccupied with bickering with officials, thrashed Bukayo Saka. For Havertz's and White's second goals, he was equally subpar.

Moises Caicedo - 6

Despite being the most effective of all three midfielders and making one vital interception to prevent a tap-in, the opposition's elite midfielders, in particular, nonetheless outmanoeuvred him.

Enzo Fernandez - 4.5

Among his worst outings of the season, he was dreadful both when in and out of possession. hauled off about halfway through the final half, raising the possibility that he wasn't completely healthy.

Noni Madueke - 7

Arguably the best player for Chelsea today as he was lively throughout the game and continued his decent run of form but was unlucky not to grab a goal contribution today.

Connor Gallagher - 5

The midfielder was seen defending more than helping his side in the attack but tried his best to create chances today.

Mykhailo Mudryk - 4.5

Another poor game for the winger as he was dominated by the Arsenal defenders on various occasions today.

Nicholas Jackson - 4

The striker does everything right throughout the game but his finishing has been extremely poor this season and it continued today.

Substitutes -

Raheem Sterling - 4

The 29-year-old, who only managed a meek free kick, will have been upset not to start.

Trevor Chalobah - 5.5

Added to strengthen Chelsea's defence, which was reduced into a five-man backline in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

Thiago Silva - 6

It should come as no surprise that the Blues didn't let any more goals in after the veteran entered the game.

Cesare Casadei - N/A
