UEFA is yet again in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. UEFA's governing body is on course to make some of the biggest changes in the history of the League including changing the league's format, which will now be played in a league phase instead of the traditional group system, much to the dislike of many football fans.
The governing body decided to bid farewell to the iconic Champions League Anthem, which set the stage for many iconic matches since 1992-93.
The "Champions League" anthem, which is based on George Fredrick Handel's - " Zadok the Priest", is an integral part of the competition's legacy. Many players aspired to walk onto the pitch to the tune of this anthem, seeking glory .
