While on the Artemis mission, NASA Engineer García-Galán projected this message onto the spacecraft while it was 394,000 kilometres away from Earth. On the spacecraft he drafted the message “Hala Madrid! Kings of Europe...and of space.” This just proves that the engineer was a Real Madrid fan by heart and showed his love for the team through this gesture.
Garcia-Galan desired to be a member of the group that worked in the background to prepare astronauts for difficult flights to far-off places. However, he claimed there were limited chances for him to get involved in space research from his native nation. He would have to travel across the Atlantic Ocean in order to follow his aspirations.
He said in an interview earlier last year as he said, “Working for NASA was my only objective. My dad was a pilot, and my mom was a flight attendant. So, I had this adventure thing already, and I travelled a lot growing up because of them.”

On Sunday night, Real Madrid landed in Chicago to start their preseason campaign in the US. Madrid announced the players who travelled, indicating that more players will be added to the roster in the coming days.
Important players like Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Kylian Mbappe won't be in the team until Real Madrid returns to the Spanish capital, thus they won't be present for any of the next friendlies played in the United States.
Real Madrid finished 2023–2024 with three trophies under their belts, and their achievement cannot be attributed to anything other than the club's summer preparations.
