In order for Arsenal to eventually dethrone Manchester City in the Premier League in the coming season, Mikel Arteta has disclosed what it would take. In just a few weeks, the Gunners will begin their next campaign, which means they will have to get ready after yet another season of close calls. The Gunners were defeated by Manchester City in the May championship game, and Arteta is certain that this season's outcome will be different.

Arteta's team was Manchester City's closest competitor in 2023–24 for the second year running, falling short of the eventual victors by just two points and sending the final game into overtime. To help them accomplish this goal, supporters will be hoping that the squad can add some new players who can take them to new heights.

Arsenal, who have players like Gabriel and Kai Havertz back with the team after playing in the Copa America and European Championship, will now take versus Manchester United during the early hours of Sunday morning in the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Arsenal manager was questioned about next season and what it would take to beat his old boss before the game. As per Goal.com Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said, “114 points.”  “If we do that, we win the league for sure. This is the objective; from there we’ll see what we get. Earn the right to win it and have the biggest probability over the opponent.”

After leading Arsenal to their highest point total since their 2004 league title victory, the Spanish manager is looking to snap a two-decade-old losing streak. Preseason tour now underway in America, the North London club opened the season earlier this week with a 5-4 victory on penalties following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes against Premier League rivals Bournemouth
