A Great start to the season

Haaland, had an impressive start to the new Premier League season, getting seven goals in just three games, including two consecutive hat-tricks. However, the club's gaffer, Pep Guardiola, insisted that the city's striker Halland take a break in light of the loss he sustained.

City received a boost as forward Phil Foden returned to training after missing England's two international fixtures due to illness. Guardiola is set to provide an update on Nathan Ake during his Friday news conference following the Dutch defender's early exit from the Netherlands' 2-2 draw with Germany on Tuesday, where he was visibly upset.

Meanwhile, Brentford's manager, Thomas Frank, is aiming to orchestrate another unexpected victory over City, reminiscent of their win at the Etihad in November 2022. His primary focus will be on containing Haaland, assuming he is in the lineup.
