FC Barcelona will be facing Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at the Parc Des Princes. The Blaugranes have qualified for the final 8 after 4 years and have been desperate to win the UCL this season under Xavi. However the defending La Liga winners have not had the best season so far as they are 2nd placed in the Spanish league table 8 points behind arch rivals Real Madrid. 

Ahead of the clash the Luis Enrique has dropped a shocking comments about his rival coach. Enrique was the last coach for Barca to win the Champions League in the 2014/15 season and since then the club has failed to win the toughest European competition. The closest they have been was in the semi-final where they lost against Liverpool 4-3 on aggregate. The former Barca main will be on the hot seat on PSG on Wednesday and will try to prove something against his former club. 

The tactical battle between the two Spanish coach will be the one to watch out for. Xavi had played under Enrique during his last few years at the club and knows the tactics he might use to beat his former club. The 53-year-old head coach has always had a soft heart towards the Blaugranes due to the love and respect he got from the fans and the club as well. 

Who will win the tactical battle?

On Tuesday during the press-conferance, the former Spanish footballer was asked the football philosophy of both the coaches and whose is better. Enrique believes that he has a better tactical mind and football philosophy than his opposite number. He tells the reporters that it is not an opinion as the stats, chances created, pressing speaks volumes for the coach.

When further pressed on whether his knowledge of Barcelona and Xavi will be an advantage he said, "I’ve known him (Xavi) as a teammate, as my player, but not as a coach. I know the club very well, but I don’t know whether it’ll be an advantage. " He also respected and said that the Spanish Giants are not weak and it will be difficult to beat them going forward.
