Patrice Evra received a 12-month prison term after being found guilty of leaving his family, however, he promptly appealed. France's criminal court convicted the 43-year-old of failing to pay alimony to his former wife.
According to Nathalie Dubois, the civil party's counsel, Patrice owes his ex-wife, Sandra Evra, around 969,000 euros in alimony. Meanwhile, Patrice, regarded as one of Europe's finest left-backs, 'has filed an appeal', according to his counsel, Jerome Boursica.
The attorney added to the previously cited source that Patrice has lent his spouse "nearly two million euros for her daily expenses" and provided her "an apartment, a house with a swimming pool" in France. Patrice Evra moved to Dubai
