Jose Mourinho pushes Fenerbache to sign two Manchester United footballers in summer window

Jose Mourinho has signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club Fenerbache. The club finished 2nd in the Turkish Super League with 99 points and lost just one game in the season. The former Chelsea manager despite links with Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs decided to stay in Europe. He was previously spotted in the UEFA Champions League final as a football pundit for TNT Sports, for the game between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. 

As the club season has ended and the UEFA Euro 2024 is ongoing, the manager will be looking to sign some footballers in the upcoming transfer window. The 61-year-old manager has shown interest in two Manchester United footballers for the upcoming season. Victor Lindelof and Casemiro are on the radar of the coach to get in the service of the two experienced footballers in the squad. 

The club has made them up for sale in the summer window and as per the reports by SporX, Mario Branco, the sporting director of Fenerbahce, is putting in a lot of effort to meet up with Mourinho's demands this summer. After spending £30 million to sign Lindelof for Manchester United in 2017, the Portuguese manager is eager to work with him again. Fenerbahce is hoping to complete an £8.5 million contract for the Sweden international.

Will Casemiro sign for Fenerbache?

The Turkish club has also asked about the availability of the Brazilian midfielder, as the footballer has failed to perform for the Red Devils under Erik Ten Hag in 32 appearances for the club he has scored only five times and assisted three times in the 2023/24 season. Saudi Arabia clubs are also interested in signing the footballer for the upcoming season and the amount they will provide is impossible to match by the Turkish club however it will also be dependent on the footballer on where he wants to continue. 

United will be under huge reshuffling for the upcoming season, and there will be a lot of big names that will be up for sale for the club as they are planning a new project under INEOS and want to gain success after their poor last season in the English Premier League.
