Real Madrid hit the headlines earlier this summer when they happened to crack a big deal of signing former PSG star Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman’s arrival seems to put the Real Madrid squad on the edge of conundrums. Especially the concern is about the ‘left-winger’ position of Vinicius Jr in their attack.

Romero was recently in an interview with SPORT, he didn’t hold back in saying that Perez won’t step back for even a moment if he gets some big deal for Vinicius Jr.

“I was convinced that he [Vinicius] would leave. If they come with more than €300 million, I am convinced that Florentino will sell him, that he even takes him to the airport in his car,” said Romero to SPORT.

“The thing is that €300 million is a lot of money. I think Florentino’s darling is going to be Mbappe. He has been behind him for seven years,” he added later.

Notably, Mbappe hasn’t been in that impressive run of form since his transfer to Madrid. After completing 23 appearances for Real Madrid and has been able to score 13 goals.

Meanwhile, an AS report understands that Vinicius Jr is looking ahead to ask for wages equal to his recently joined teammate Kylian Mbappe. The talks between Vinicius and the club are expected to be held at the time of the renewal of his contract with the club. The Las Blancos roped in the Brazil international seven years back in 2017.
