England will be competing for the UEFA Euro 2024. The three lions in the last edition lost in the final against Italy in the penalties. They are the favourites this time as well and might go on to win the final as well. But if things turn in a different way there might be a managerial change in the team.
If the Three Lions fails to do well in Germany, Gareth Southgate will face significant pressure from supporters to leave the team. While the FA would love to agree on new terms with Southgate to retain him in charge of the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, they acknowledge the 53-year-old may wish to move on. The FA considers him, but the manager himself believes to call it an end if he fails to win the silverware.
Newcastle United coach is one of the candidates to replace Southgate, as the Association is really an admirer of the Magpies manager and will be holding talks if the current manager does not decide to stay at the club. Ahead of the tournament, he has dropped a hint as well leaving if he fails to win the tournament.
Southgate to call it an end after Euros

There is a mixture of young talent and experience, however they lost against Iceland in the ongoing international friendlies. The loss will be a wake-up call for the star-studded English team right ahead of the marquee tournament. They are also looking for Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel, into the equation, as both coaches have experience managing clubs in England.
