Rasmus Hojlund has received advice from Manchester United great Dimitar Berbatov to increase his goal ratio at Old Trafford. Hojlund signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford after the team agreed to make a large financial investment to lure him away from Atalanta.

The possible cost of the transfer price is £70 million, which comprises a one-time fee of £62 million and an extra £8 million in performance-related bonuses. Hojlund's performance has been scrutinized since coming to Manchester. After making 42 appearances in a variety of tournaments, the striker scored 16 goals in his first season at the club. Although these are commendable figures, Berbatov believes Hojlund is capable of much more.

During a conversation with Futbin, Dimitrov Berbatov said, “Hojlund's goal ratio must improve. He should be better and I think he can be better. He can do better but it comes down to concentration levels. Keeping his concentration levels high throughout all the games because he had good goal-scoring opportunities and didn't score them.”

“Try to add that to your game” : Dimitrov Berbatov

The Bulgarian went on to say that Rasmus Hojlund needs to propel himself more at this crucial juncture in his career. Although Berbatov conceded that the task would not be simple, he emphasized that the effort could be valuable, particularly with Ruud van Nistelrooy as part of the coaching staff.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker added that, "This is the moment where he has to work even harder which won't be easy but it’ll be beneficial," he said. "Especially now that United have Ruud van Nistelrooy in the coaching team. So now if you don’t take this opportunity to learn from one of the best who used to score goals for fun, you’re wasting your time. Speak to Ruud, ask questions, visit his home if you have to, be respectful, listen to him, learn, ask questions and try to add that to your game.”
