Jadon Sancho's standpoint on a Manchester United return has emerged, with the winger reportedly deciding his future. Notably, after his rough spell at Old Trafford, marred by public disagreements with his manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho's return to form has been making headlines about his potential comeback to Manchester United. In addition, Sancho fell out with Erik ten Hag when he got the defeat against Arsenal.

However, despite Ten Hag's refusal to confirm or deny Sancho's future at the club, sources at United are expecting his departure from the club. In addition, Sancho maintains a desire to extend his stay at Dortmund, but some financial hardships are a significant hurdle to it. Meanwhile,  Dortmund are considering the main area of retaining Sancho on loan for another year, with the great option and obligation to do so at the end.

The winger's great performance in Dortmund's recent UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain has only added fuel to his transfer to Saga, with clubs monitoring situations closely. Meanwhile, some of the sources have revealed that United and Dortmund are set to meet for talks regarding Sancho's future; however, as negotiations unfold and uncertainities loom, the football fraternity eagerly awaits to see where Sancho's next career grows.

United paid £73 million to sign Sancho from the German giants

“Jadon Sancho has no plans to return to Manchester United once his loan deal at Borussia Dortmund expires next month. And the Champions League semi-finalists are ready to open talks with the Red Devils about extending his stay in Germany. Dortmund know they are unlikely to be able to afford the price tag for a permanent deal for the 24-year-old this summer. So they plan to ask about the possibility of signing him for another year – with an option or obligation to buy at the end of the 2024/5 campaign," the paper explains.

“United paid £73 million to sign Sancho from the German giants in summer 2021 but he never lived up to that price tag," it added further.
