New Update
Mohamed Salah - FC Barcelona

Given that Mohamed Salah is available on a free transfer, FC Barcelona is keen to rekindle their interest in the Egyptian. Sport claims that Barcelona is giving a Bosman deal for Mohamed Salah during the following summer. The Blaugrana has already shown interest in the Egyptians. The seven-season Liverpool veteran's availability upon a free transfer the following summer has recently rendered things more intriguing, although the cost of obtaining him had still delayed them.

Every week that goes by makes Liverpool supporters worry about Mohamed Salah's future. The club's ambition to resolve the Egyptian's contractual problem was once again raised by his outstanding performance in the triumph over Brighton last weekend.

Salah's current contract ends during the summer, and Liverpool has not yet raised the prospect of a new agreement, despite his public appeal earlier in the season. According to the source, the Merseysiders have been eager for the Egyptian to conclude his career with distinction at their club, which is sufficient to warrant a new deal. A different story is told by the fact that the Reds have previously considered attractive alternative options available in the market.

Saudi sides are prepared to make a significant offer to bring the most well-known Muslim star to the Middle East, but some other interested parties have begun circling. High-profile European teams like PSG and Inter Milan are also interested in signing him, but Al-Alhli is keen to do so.

Should Mohamed Salah go to FC Barcelona

Despite their well-known financial issues, FC Barcelona is still linked with a few of the biggest names in the world. Joan Laporta reportedly had a prior interest in Salah, but Liverpool's asking price and wage demands prevented them from signing him; instead, they chose Robert Lewandowski.

FC Barcelona has been drawn to Salah because, at 32, he doesn't appear to be slowing down. However, since they happen to have a future talent in Salah's place in Lamine Yamal, they may reasonably look into making investments in other areas. Paying the Egyptian what they demand in salary would make it a no-brainer rather than bolstering other team positions.
