Haaland has surpassed several records in his first season with the club and created some as well. The 23-year-old forward has scored 32 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions for the Sky Blues. However, amidst his rough patch, he has been featured as a playable video game character in Clash of Clans this week. This is the first time that any real character in the game, and the footballer Haaland, will become the Barbarian King character during a month-long football-themed seasonal event.

The players of the game will be able to recruit the Norwegian striker or raid his village and ruin it as well. The striker has been playing Clash of Clans for over a decade and approached Supercell, the Finnish game developers of the famous mobile game, to form a partnership. Supercell did not disappoint with the opportunity.

Fans excited about Haaland's inclusion in video game

The special Haaland edition is set to begin tomorrow and runs until May 31st. If you beat the Man City footballer on the battlefield, gamers can earn additional gifts and a spot on the leaderboards as well. Haaland was around 10 years old when he first got the idea to build up an in-game village in the fantasy-themed world.

However, he scored in his previous game after coming on as a sub and tallied his goal to 21 in the EPL with four games remaining. His side has the best chance of winning the PL in the current season as well, and he might win the Golden Boot for back-to-back seasons in the toughest club football league
