He told Brazil ESPN, "God made many of my dreams come true very early on, and I'm very grateful. There's a huge burden on my back, but he wouldn't give it to someone who couldn't manage or bear it."

"I'm very happy to be in the national team and here in Orlando [Florida, at the team's training base]. I'm going to keep training, working to win this Copa América and lead the team to success. We're on the right track. We've only had four games [under new head coach Dorival] and now we're training well, we've got time to train."
