For the outstanding forwards Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, Crystal Palace is open to bids that begin at £60 million or more for both players. With a club-record 12th year of Premier League action under their belt, the Eagles remain safe from relegation and do not have to sell any player.

However, they acknowledge that bids are quite likely to arrive this summer given the recent accolades, especially for the 25-year-old Eze, plus the form of Olise, 22. Additionally, Palace believes that the initial price for potential teams to commence negotiations is £60 million per player.

This season, Olise and Eze both inked long-term contracts, giving Palace significant negotiating leverage. There isn't a clear-cut release clause in any contract, and because of the players' prior teams, Crystal Palace, and themselves, any agreement will involve percentages.

Chelsea tried in vain to recruit Olise for a fee of almost £35 million, believing they had triggered his release clause. Meanwhile Manchester City showed interest in Eze last summer but instead bought Matheus Nunes of Wolves.

The players are content at Palace and eager to ensure that any prospective transfer will help them, with an emphasis on selecting a team that can allow them to showcase their skill with the ball and their offensive flair.

Eze and Olise - better together for Crystal Palace!

Although Olise and Eze have only started six matches in the Premier League together, there is a discernible change in Crystal Palace's style of play when they are not in the starting lineup. They rely on counter-attacking football and it proves to be great for them against oppositions in the top half.

Among the 14 goals in the six games, 13 have been scored or assisted by them. With sporting director Dougie Freedman, Palace signed two of the Championship's top players: Olise and Eze. Apart from Olise and Eze, they additionally acquired Marc Guehi, who was on loan from Chelsea at Swansea, and Adam Wharton, who was most recently signed.
