Lamine Yamal wins Kopa Trophy 2024

Because of his outstanding performances for Barcelona and Spain, Lamine Yamal received the 2024 Kopa Trophy and was chosen as the world's top young player of the year. After establishing himself to become a first-team standout at Barcelona and contributing significantly to Spain's UEFA Euro 2024 victory, the winger received the honor.

FC Barcelona win Women’s Club of the Year 2024

The club's president, Joan Laporta, accepted the prize first, then gave it to the players, who later took the stage, after Barcelona Femeni emerged victorious as the best team in the women's division. For the very first time in its existence, Barca Femeni achieved a quadruple by winning the Copa del Rey, the League title, the Spanish Super Cup, and the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Real Madrid win Club of the Year 2024

At Monday's Ballon d'Or Awards Ceremony, held at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris, France, Real Madrid was proclaimed the top men's football team. In contrast, Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga, and the UEFA Champions League the previous season. But since the club chose to abstain from the event, nobody was there to accept the prize.

Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe share Gerd Muller Trophy 2024

The 2024 Gerd Muller Trophy has been won by Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid and Harry Kane of Bayern Munich. Both had 52 goals at the end of the 2023–24 campaign. In honor of the Bayern icon and his No. 9 predecessor Gerd Müller, the English striker and Kylian Mbappe were awarded the award for best striker of the previous season. 

Emiliano Martinez retains Yachine Trophy 2024

At the Ballon d'Or honors, Emiliano Martinez has kept the Yashin Trophy. The Yashin Trophy, which is given to the most outstanding goalkeeper of the year and is chosen by previous Ballon d'Or winners, has once again been given to the goalkeeper for Aston Villa and Argentina. Alisson Becker, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Thibaut Courtois, as well as Martinez have all won since it began in 2019. Emiliano Martinez received the award for the first time in 2023.

Emma Hayes wins Women’s Coach of the Year 2024

In honor of the renowned Dutch coach and player, coach awards will now be called the Johan Cruyff award. The 2024 Women's Coach of the Year Award goes to Emma Hayes, the former head coach of Chelsea and member of the United States Women's National Team. 

Carlo Ancelotti wins Men’s Coach of the Year 2024

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, is named the 2024 men's coach of the year. With Real Madrid, the Italian won both the La Liga as well as the Champions League the previous season. However, the whole Real Madrid team decided not to attend the ceremony, therefore he was not present to accept the prize. 

Aitana Bonmati wins Women’s Ballon d’Or award 2024

The most significant individual football award, the Ballon d'Or, which is presented annually by the esteemed French magazine France Football, was won by Aitana Bonmatí on Monday night for the second time in a row. The midfielder had already won the prize the year before, therefore this was his second time receiving it.
