Arsenal are in red hot form since the start of 2024 year. Mikel Arteta's side have played 11 games so far and are yet to loose a game in the current year, they have won 10 games and drawn one and scored 33 goals, and conceded only 4 so far in the English Premier League (EPL). They are yet again in the top of the table, with 71 points. However they have played one game more than the other two title contenders Liverpool and Manchester City.

They have a important clash awaiting on Wednesday as they will be hosting Bayern Munich at the Emirate, for the 1st leg of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-finals. The Gunners do not have a good record against the defending champions at the UCL, but the current form of both the teams have been contrasting, the Bavrians have not had the best season. Arteta will be hoping that his side to take a hefty lead in the 1st leg.

There has been one concern that could be the headache for the Spnish coach. The injury list of the Gunners, Bukayo Saka missed the game against Luton Town on Wednesday evening, but was back in the XI against Brighton on Saturday.  William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been the back bone for the side in the ongoing season. But the latter was tekn off after he suffered an injury during the game.

The Brazilian's injury has raised questions over his participation on Wednesday's game against Bayern. He was spotted to by Arsenal's physios before carrying on and completing the full 90 minutes. But the injury of the central defender has been unknown and the fans hope that he can participate on Wednesday, as the team is already missing their other centre back Jurien Timber who has been out for months.

Though the former Ajax footballer has been recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered back in August. Despite being back in training he was not added to the game against Brighton and might also miss the game against the Bavarians.
