Toni Kroos played his last game in the German jersey. The 34-year-old had announced his retirement from internationals in the past but has returned to action just for Euro 2024. His comeback helped the home side to play good Football which they've been lacking in the last few years. Despite not winning the title, Kroos can be proud of what he achieved in his career.

The star player was sad as Germany lost to Spain 1-2 in the quarterfinals. However, he stuck by the fact that it was his last game as a German. Toni as a player achieved probably everything except a Euro title. His best came for Germany and Real Madrid where he was at his best. No wonder why the Spanish fans applauded him when he announced his retirement.

Take a look at his achievements below -

With Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, he won a lot of club titles. The star player won six Champions League, which is a great record. Additionally, he won four Spanish Leagues and three German Cups. Not to forget, Kroos also won three Bundesligas in his club career. If these were not enough, Toni was impressive in the Copa Del Rey tournament too.

Toni Kroos' contributions to Germany

He won the prestigious title and established a legacy for himself. But the ultimate glory moment for the experienced one would be his FIFA World Cup 2014 win at the age of just 24. He was a part of one of the golden generations of German Football that made the nation proud. He scored a goal in the semifinal of the tournament against hosts Brazil which they thrashed 7-1.

None can forget his contribution to the tournament. He is one of the last players to play for Germany after being born in East Germany. Euro is the only cup that has eluded the elite trophy cabinet of the experienced one. But he seems to be fine with it.

In his career, Kroos played about 832 matches and scored 80 goals, most of which came as a midfielder. He played 114 matches for Germany and scored 17 goals. Toni was in the press conference and looked back at his insane career. He has retired as one of the best German players to have ever played the beautiful game.
