A fan-made map of the highly anticipated GTA 6 based on leaks and official trailer is going viral for offering a glimpse into the potential scale and scope of the upcoming game.
A GTA 6 fan is now recreating a 3D map from the trailer to showcasing the state of Leonida and how vast it actually is. While not a perfect remake as mentioned by the creator ‘RickRick’ the map does try and put the buildings in the same spot as shown in the trailer along with proper camera angles and FOV

GTA 6 map leaks are not anything new, if-fact, various iterations and comparisons of GTA 6 maps has been floating around in the community for a while now. What’s different this time is that the 3D map allows everyone to take in the scale of the fictional city of Leonida without any visual effects.

“I've been working on for a few months now to help the mapping efforts get as accurate as possible. For the buildings, I have imported Google Earth data and repositioned each building into the game's map,” the creator posted.
When asked about the sources used to create the 3D map for GTA 6, the creator revealed that while the original trailer also helped, a lot of the data is also used from the leaks as they are more accurate and have exact position and FOV of the cameras. As per the creators, the more details about the game are revealed, the better the map will become.
As expected, GTA fans were impressed to see the time and effort put into creating a GTA 6 3D map. “Looks great. As someone in the industry, I know how much effort this takes. Keep it up,” one of the comments said.
Others were joking that the creator got tired of waiting for the game and decided to make it on its own, saying, “Bro's tired of waiting for GTA 6 and is making it himself”. While another said, “Oh, so we're making gta6 before gta6 now, huh?”
