A day after Astralis and 3DMAX started warming their seats in ESL Pro League (EPL) Season 19 playoffs, Team Vitality and The MongolZ swiftly joined them with a dominating win against each of their opponents in the group stage semis.

ZywOo on fire against BetBoom Team

BetBoom Team and a real rough time against ZywOo. Even on their own map pick, they were dominated by Vitality, with ZywOo dropping 22 kills. Four round were all BetBoom could muster in the first half, with Vitality breezing through the T side, ending the game on 13-4.

The following map was Vitality’s pick and, to no one’s surprise, ZywOo once again dropped 28 bombs. While BetBoom did try a comeback, Vitality successfully shut them down in crucial rounds. The second match ended with a 13-9 score, sending Vitality to the group stage finals and securing a spot in Playoffs.

G2 Esports dominated by The MongolZ

It’s no surprise that G2 is having a rough time in recent months. Apart from m0nesy, the team seems to be struggling to get a grip. The first match didn’t even see anyone reach double digits apart from m0nesy with the team losing the match 13-4.

The following map saw some improvement, but the entire gist remained the same. MongolZ once again saw commendable performance, while G2 was handed a ticket to the lower brackets after a 13-7 loss on their own map pick.

Virtus.pro and Fnatic face to face once again

On the other side of the group stages, Virtus.pro lost against Faze, while Fnatic lost against Eternal Fire. Both teams are now set to face each other once again, but the stakes are much higher. The losing team will now return home from the last chance brackets. Previously, Fnatic had a surprise win against Virtus.pro, fans wonder if they will be able to replicate it again.
