Venom Gaming at BGIS 2024
The final showdown at Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 has begun, and Venom Gaming has shocked everyone with an insane opening chicken dinner with 21 points after taking down some of the best teams in the BGMI scene.
From positioning to endgame circles, the beginning was aligned for Venom Gaming in the first match. The team made proper use of cover and high ground. One would think that the final circles would see the team play passively, however, once they took down Team SouL.
After a barrage of grenades that took down SouL Spower and Nakul, the team coordinated a rush to take down their last man Rony who was already very low on health and knocked out the team from the race in the first game.
With the circle closing in, Venom Gaming was left against Team Insane in a 3v4 situation, however, with the power of high ground, they managed to take it down with quite ease. Team Insane who finished second was also on a roll with 9 finishes.
Team SouL with an insane run, while Global Esports sees an early upset
Team SouL also saw some great progress on the leaderboard of the first match despite getting wiped by Venom Gaming and ended up in the third spot. Vasista Esports, who finished third with only two kills in the bank, didn’t have much of a shining moment for the entire match, but a win is a win.
A few of the fans were also left upset as one of the fan favourites Global Esports was eliminated quite early, especially after NinjaBoi’s double frag grenade down against Team Aaru. The team faced a third-party invasion soon after getting out of a fight.
After going head-to-head for a bit, the players were wiped out by Team Insane, who, as we know, went on to secure the second spot in the match. All in all, the opening match saw the new team prove themselves that they were out for blood and demanded respect.
