The Finals for BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3 are on, and the first game was as intense as anyone would have expected. Most of the teams were seen hunting to secure double points during Powerplay. Few were rewarded for their efforts, while others weren’t so lucky.

Amidst all the chaos, Team Tamils emerged as the first to take a chicken dinner in the finals. While their chicken dinner was largely thanks to Orangutan after their last player ‘Aatanki’ managed to take down two players from Reckoning Esports, the team had been doing plenty well already. Aatanki's intervention unlocked the final door to victory, which would have otherwise been hard to achieve.

The team played a risky game as the majority of their finishers came during the late game. One mistake and the team would have been wiped with loose coins in the pocket. However, Team Tamilas remained quite confident and things managed to work out.

Other notable performances came from Carnival Gaming and Team Onebalde who quickly secured points during the Powerplay by taking out teams like 8Bit, Gods Reign and Global Esports. Thanks to that, both teams managed to finish even higher than Reckoning Esports, who secured the second spot.

Global Esports and Team XSpark sees early return

After an incredible performance during the League Week by Global Esports and Playoffs by Team XSpark, both teams returned to the lobby without a single finisher. Global Esports went down in a fight against Team Soul, while Team XSpark was stuck among multiple teams.

The finals are not as long as the League Week, but they aren’t as short as the Playoffs, so the teams do have time to recover. However, those who plan on doing this will need to act fast, as the first game revealed how intense the competition is since the beginning and the road ahead will only become tougher.
