The Grand Finals for the Free Fire Esports World Cup are on. Twelve teams are now competing across six matches to decide who will take home $300,000 along with a spot in the upcoming Free Fire World Series Global Finals. So far, Team Falcons have bagged the opening match to make their presence known.
With a 41-point Booyah, Team Falcons started their grand finals journey after taking down RRQ Kazu and All Gamers and ended the first game with 28 finish which is now the highest finish coin in a single match, overtaking Buriram United’s 27-point finish during Points Rush stage which also marked their three back to back victories.
Unsurprisingly enough, Buriram United landed on the second spot despite getting eliminated a bit early on. RRQ Kazu and All Gamers had a relatively slow start, but fans are hoping that the teams start their engines soon, as this is a do-or-die situation.
The match was also great for Team Falcons as they did not manage to get enough headstart points during the Points Rush stage. Finishing on the 7th spot, the Falcons only secured 1 headstart point and while it might make a difference, the players would count on it.

While Team Solid was able to secure 10 points and landed on +5, Loud only managed to secure four points in the opening game, and is currently sitting on -1. Both teams are still in a bad condition, however, LOUD has been known to make comebacks, so the upcoming matches are worth noting.
