Team Falcons and HEROIC swoops finals slots at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade

Group stage matched for BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 concludes with four teams now locked in for the semifinals in the Playoffs. The latest two additions are Team Falcons and HEROIC. Both teams had one more chance to go against the team that sent them to the loser's bracket in the first place. While Team Falcons managed to outgun VP this time, mibr wasn’t so lucky.

VP struggled initially in the opening match on Vertigo as Team Falcons took 10 rounds early on. The second half saw Fame step up more in a huge comeback, but the Falcons managed to shut them down with the remaining rounds they needed.

The following map, however, saw the VP dominating. After the initial back and forth resulting in a decent first half, VP gave a flawless defending side, with Falcons barely getting a chance to enter a site. As the score went 1-1, things started to get heated.

Previously, the Falcons lost 0-2 against VP, although they did put up a fight. The final map saw different Team Falcons or perhaps VP was struggling as James saw a huge drop in performance. The match ended in favour of the Falcons, securing their spot in the semifinals.

The team who couldn’t

The opening match between mibr and HEROIC left everyone asking if mibr could also pull a miracle and secure their spot in the semifinals. These hopes were shattered down completely after they lost the second match as HEROIC returned the favour.

The decider match saw both teams in a decent standing once again in the first half before mirb failed to bring in a similar performance in the defending side, leading to an easy victory for their opponents and losing the final chance to make it into the playoffs.

As for the Playoffs, the match-ups couldn’t be more interesting. HEROIC will Faze MOUZ while Team Falcons will face Team Spirit. Both teams are set to face a huge challenge, and it remains to be seen how well they are able to perform.
