The second teaser for Sony’s CES 2025 presentation has been released showcasing a bunch of their video game IPs and pointing towards some incredible reveal. Set to take place on January 6, 5:00 p.m. PST, or January 7, 6:30 a.m. IST, Sony is expected to make some major announcements in the tech world.
Much information is shrouded in secret and it is quite hard to speculate what will be announced. Sony is one of the global tech leaders with branches across several consumer products like TVs, cameras, smartphones, and the beloved PlayStation gaming console. Not only that, but Sony is also not behind in the entertainment sector with various IPs under their name, both on TV and in video games.

Considering the nature of the event, one can only assume that people will likely get to see the latest advancements in tech by the company. These could be AR/VR along with Artificial Intelligence (AI) which has been the talk of the town in recent days. Those planning on catching the Press Conference can watch it on the official YouTube channel.

More PlayStation console improvements?
Since we’re talking tech, how can one forget the PlayStation, one of the best-selling gaming consoles worldwide? The PS5 in general has been very successful compared to its competitors. However, PlayStation announcements are usually done during their tech presentations so news regarding the console is much more unlikely.
Most recently, PlayStation teamed up with AMD to work on utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to create tech that will further improve graphics and gameplay. What’s incredible is that the tech will not be exclusive to the console. While this was already announced prior, more on that may come with AMD’s CES 2025 presentation.
