Seems like Apple and the Resident Evil series are quite fond of each other, as the recent reveal shows two more Resident Evil games coming to Apple iOS including iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPads and Macs or any device with M-series chips (M1 or higher).

Last year, Apple showcased various PC titles on the new M1 chip, including Capcom’s Resident Evil Village with Resident Evil 4 Remake launch later on. The company now seems to be moving forward with two more iconic entries into the series.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set to launch on July 2 and will also include Not A Hero DLC featuring Chris Redfield. Other DLCs for the game like End of Zoe, Banned Footage series and others will be available to purchase separately.

Released back in 2017, the game was a massive leap in the RE Engine. The game is currently available for pre-order, however, those who are not sure how the game will play out can try out the demo too which will allow them to play a section of the game.

Resident Evil 2 Remake port is currently in development, with a release date yet to be revealed. The original game was released back in 1998 and was a massive success, while the Remake was released in 2019 and garnered the same amount of popularity.

The base price for a Resident Evil 7 biohazard pre-order is $20 while the gold edition with all the DLC will cost $40. Price for Resident Evil 2 Remake is yet to be revealed.

New controls for iPhones and iPads

Both games will feature new ‘enhanced controls’ that will include the Auto Fire option when aimed at enemies for a short duration. However, those who do not feel like playing on a touch touchscreen can also use compatible Bluetooth controllers. Players on Mac will be able to play with regular Keyboard and Mouse controls or use a compatible controller.
