Reckoning Esports crowned champions for BGMI Challengers Showdown S2

After three days of chaotic battle, Reckoning Esports have come out on top and secured the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMI) Challengers Showdown Season 2 by Upthrust Esports with a respectable margin.

The team took home Rs 2 lakh in the grand finals and Rs 2.75 lakh in total after their performance at the redemption week. Other veterans among the bunch, like Medal Esports, were also close behind. Teams securing top spots in eliminator week were nowhere close by.

Grand finals overview

Reckoning Esports was already off to a huge start as the team shocked everyone on the first day with four chicken dinners, leading to an insane final score of 98 points. The following day saw them match up with other top teams and secure one match, but still maintain a respectable score.

The final day saw GENxFM Esports with the highest score with two chicken dinners, while things didn’t work out well with Reckoning as the team once again only secured one game. Godlike Esports did not have many wins, but the sheer firepower alone carried them to the second spot

Jonathan from Godlike was crowned as the MVP for grand finals with a whooping 37 finishes which made it clear how the team ended in second spot. The third spot went to Medal Esports, who also had a consistent performance across all three days. Global Esports and Team SouL had a few good rounds and a decent second day, but they all lacked in overall performance.
