PUBG Mobile x Volkswagen Design Contest: All you need to know

PUBG Mobile’s recent collaboration with Volkswagen brought players the iconic Käfer 1200L and the Bettle Convertible. The cars quickly became popular among fans. In celebration, the company brought the community Ptopia Design Project (PDP) that will reward several people for their designs and a chance to co-create upcoming vehicles.

The game had already done similar collaborations with popular car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and more. This one also did not look out of the ordinary until the announcement of the design was made. The event started last month on September 27 and will conclude on November 20. Those who are competing have a lot of time.

How do you take part in the PUBG Mobile x Volkswagen Design Contest?

People taking part in the challenge will get a template, based on which, the vehicle can be designed. Despite being a Volkswagen collab, people can choose their style and there are no restrictions on vehicle type that allows the creativity to run wild.

To be eligible, the participants need to submit a vehicle finish and an attachment. There are a few pointers that need to be avoided. The design should not affect game balance and the vehicle cannot have proportional changes like in size.

Rewards for PUBG Mobile x Volkswagen Design Contest

Gold Award - Two lucky players will be able to secure $1000 each and will also be receiving exclusive in-game rewards including an Elite co-creator planner title, a PDP avatar frame and a PDP Mythic Item of their choice, Furthermore, they will also get a chance to join the Official Creative Team.

Silver Award - The Silver Award will see five winners who will receive $600 almond with similar benefits including a chance to join the creative team. The only thing they will not be getting is the Elite co-creator planner title. Instead, the second spot will receive a Veteran co-creator planner title/

Bronze Award - The final position category will see ten players receive $400 along with all the other rewards from the silver tier.

Apart from the position tier, 30 participants also have a chance to secure an Outstanding award and $300. Another award that 10 players can swoop is the Popularity Award, featuring $200 for each person. Lastly, all shortlisted participants will receive in-game items but no cash prize.
