As the power of the ESWC, over $30 million alone would be reserved for the game tournaments themselves. However, the prize pools of each game were yet to be declared until now.

In a recent post in the Counter-Strike subreddit, an infographic from inside revealed the prize pool distribution for the tournaments set to take place at the ESWC. However, there is currently no official announcement from the ESWC themselves.

Here’s the complete prize distribution as per the uploaded graphic -

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang - $3 million

StarCraft II - $ 1 million (Main Event), $750,000 (Qualifier)

Many people were surprised to see how much mobile esports have made progress, with PUBG Mobile featuring almost double the prize of PUBG on PC. Few other niche games like StarCraft II and fighting games have also received a very good prize pool.

Perhaps, one of the most shocking things for the fans was the Dota 2 prize pool compared to League of Legends. Dota 2 as the post suggest a $10 million combined prize pool, while League only features a $1 million prize. Fans say this is due to Dota 2 being more popular in the Middle East and the event for the League isn’t officially supported by Riot Games as they announced earlier.
